NYC
So Last weekend we had the opportunity to attend a dinner party in NYC. We live a trains ride away from NYC and never go down. This time we did and it was wonderful! We hopped on a train in Westport around 4pm and were in the city by 5:30ish. We stopped at a friends for a short time then we all headed out to the party. This was a type of reunion for all of my husbands college friends. I met wonderful people, learned of new adventures, and celebrated engagements. Wines and wonderful foods were plentiful. We started to loose track of time and suddenly it was past midnight. We decided it was time to catch our train home so we said goodbye to friends and caught a cab. We got to the station with plenty of time, got a bottle of water and headed towards the platform. Then my husband realized he forgot his bag with all of his grading and the car keys at our friends apartment in Tribeca. So we got back in a taxi, drove back to Tribeca and picked up the bag then back to the train station. We arrived back at the train station with 3 minutes to spare, so we ran to our train. Entered the car and found a friend. My husband is very lucky there was someone on the train so I started to forget how upset I was. After everything it turned out to be a great night!

Another day: Today just happens to be in February
That was January 2010. I finished a gig and crashed; I think back and remember I had a plan. There were projects and goals. I was going to make a lot of things, I had inspiration and feeling productive. Then I got home and sat down... nothing. I sat in a chair for close to a week, sitting, staring at the TV. I didn't knit, draw, or even think about doing anything. I'm pretty sure I spent a few days in my PJ's. I wasn't depressed, just crashed. It's hard to explain if you've never felt the crash, I think everyone has, just think back to college vacations.
Now I'm back! At least the want is back. I want to make things again and be apart of everything again. I am still tired, but all of that will soon be explained away. I'm getting back on schedule, the schedule has changed, but I'm getting back to it. Better late than never. So here I sit, ready to start again.
Hello February!
